Common Ground
Elizabeth Kjar serves as the Sr. Partnerships & Grants Manager at Honor Community Health since March 2022 and has been the Project Director at Common Ground since June 2020, where responsibilities include implementing a suicide prevention model and fostering collaboration between resources and crisis hubs. Additionally, Elizabeth is a Mentor Michigan+ Consultant, providing training and support for statewide mentoring programs. Previous roles include Executive Director at Positive Paths, overseeing social service programs, and Director of Residential Programs at Sojourner Center, managing crisis shelter operations. Elizabeth holds adjunct faculty positions at Harford Community College and Utah Valley University, teaching various social work-related courses. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in Education from Westminster University, a bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development from Utah State University, and a currently pursued Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan.
