Janet Sarkos

Janet Sarkos is an experienced leader in crisis operations and advocacy, currently serving as the Chief Crisis Operations Officer at Common Ground since September 2021. Previously, Janet held the position of Executive Director at Caring Contact from December 2016 to June 2021, where Caring Contact operated as the primary responder of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in Northern New Jersey, providing critical support through an award-winning volunteer-staffed hotline. Janet holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in History of Art from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
