Common Ground
Judie Tomaszewski has extensive experience in crisis counseling and mental health support, currently serving at Common Ground Sanctuary since 2002 in roles including Crisis Counselor and Legal Clinic Counselor, while also facilitating a dog therapy group at the Crisis Residential Unit. Prior experience includes serving as Intake Coordinator and BSW Liaison at Baldwin House from April 2011 to May 2013, and volunteering as a Mentor and Intake Coordinator at Jewish Family Service from January 2001 to July 2009. Additionally, Judie worked as a Mentor/Tutor at Judson Center from January 1999 to March 2001. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Central Michigan University and a Master’s of Social Work from Wayne State University.
