Max Kleiman-Weiner

Co-Founder & CEO at Common Sense Machines

Max Kleiman-Weiner has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Max began their career as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company in 2010. In 2011, they became a Fulbright Scholar at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2012, they Co-Founded and became Chief Scientist of Diffeo, a company which was acquired by Salesforce in 2019. From 2018 to 2020, they were a DSI & CRCS Fellow at Harvard University. During this time, they also served as a Scout Investor at Sequoia Capital. In 2020, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Common Sense Machines.

Max Kleiman-Weiner received their PhD in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018. Max obtained their MSc in Applied Statistics and Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford in 2011. Max completed their BS in Biological Sciences and Neurobiology from Stanford University in 2009.
