Amir Bassan-Eskenazi is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience in leading innovative companies in the digital media and technology sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of CommonGround-AI since 2020, Amir focuses on developing cutting-edge software solutions that enhance human interaction through advanced technologies such as computer vision and deep learning. Previously, Amir served as Chairman of the Board at Texel, where the platform provided personalized viewing experiences for TVs and VR headsets. As CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board at Pixie Technology from 2013 to 2019, Amir drove the company's strategic vision. Prior to that, Amir co-founded BigBand Networks in 1998 and led its growth as CEO and Chairman until 2011, establishing a new category of digital video networking. Earlier in Amir's career, significant contributions were made at Optibase Ltd. from 1991 to 1998, progressing from R&D Engineer to COO and playing a key role in the development of the first commercial JPEG image compression codec. Amir Bassan-Eskenazi holds a degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
