Mary O'Brien is the Director of Advancement at Commonweal and has held this position since 2025. They previously served as the Director of Development at the Esalen Institute and the Director of Advancement for Landmark Conservancy. As the Founder and Director of the Madeline Island Summer Film Series from 2012 to 2017, O'Brien demonstrated a commitment to film and community engagement.
