Dirk Hastenrath

Dirk Hastenrath currently serves as Executive Director and Director of Implementation for the Regulatory Reform Program at Commonwealth Bank since January 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Program Manager focusing on Regulatory Reform - Transaction Reporting. Prior to his current position, Dirk Hastenrath took a career break while seeking new challenges from September 2018 to January 2020 and spent over two decades at Deutsche Bank in various vice president roles, culminating as Regional Head of Regulatory Technology for Corporate & Investment Bank Asia Pacific. Key responsibilities included overseeing complex regulatory technology projects, managing business-aligned technology changes globally, and leading various operational programs within asset servicing and custody operations. Dirk Hastenrath holds a law degree from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a certification in commercial banking from Bethmannschule Frankfurt am Main.
