James Sloan

James Sloan is a Software Engineer at Commonwealth Bank since February 2020, specializing as a Backend Engineer for mobile and web applications, integrating modern and legacy systems. Previously, James completed the Enterprise Services Graduate Program as a Graduate Software Engineer at Commonwealth Bank and worked as a Summer Intern in a dual role of Business Analyst and Software Developer in Web Development. Earlier experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at rCITI from December 2014 to February 2018, where responsibilities involved data preparation, mapping software utilization, and model implementation in C++. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from UNSW, completed between 2014 and 2019, and attended SHORE School from 2007 to 2012.
