Kate Brown

Kate Brown is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in dispute resolution, employee relations, and regulatory legal matters. Since July 2019, Kate has served as the Executive General Manager and General Counsel for Group Services Legal at Commonwealth Bank, having previously held roles as General Manager for Disputes Legal and General Manager for Disputes, Employment, and Regulatory Legal. Prior to this, Kate worked extensively at CBA in various senior legal positions from 2009 to 2020, including General Manager of Major Dispute Resolution & Employee Relations Legal. Earlier in her career, Kate was a Senior Associate specializing in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at Minter Ellison. Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney, along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the same institution.
