Matthew Mudge

Matthew Mudge is an accomplished Senior Credit Risk Manager at Commonwealth Bank, a position held since August 2019, where responsibility includes designing and implementing Credit Risk strategies for Simple Credit products in Consumer Finance. Prior experience includes roles as Credit Risk Manager and Technical Credit Risk Manager, specializing in credit risk strategies for StepPay and credit cards. Matthew's career began at Matrix Education, serving as a Chemistry Teacher while holding continuous roles as Senior Credit Risk Analyst and Credit Risk Analyst. Academically, Matthew achieved a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry from UNSW in September 2020, and a Bachelor of Advanced Science in Chemistry and Physics from UNSW in November 2014.
