Suresh Kumar

Suresh Kumar is an experienced financial risk professional with a strong background in quantitative risk methodology and modelling. Currently serving as the General Manager of Financial Risk Modelling at Commonwealth Bank, Suresh has previously held significant positions at ANZ, including Head of Risk Modelling, Global Head of Quantitative Risk Methodology, and Acting Global Head of Quantitative Analytics. Earlier in Suresh's career, an application engineer role was undertaken at Hibbitt, Karlsson and Sorensen Inc. Suresh holds a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering Mechanics from the University at Buffalo, obtained between 1992 and 1997, and a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completed in 1992.
