Tsugumi West

Tsugumi West is an experienced executive in strategic operations, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Group Strategy at Commonwealth Bank since July 2021. Prior to this role, Tsugumi held various leadership positions at Westpac from 2010 to 2021, including Head of Customer Strategy and Value Proposition for Everyday Banking, and Chief of Staff for both Consumer and Business Banking sectors. Tsugumi's career in strategy began at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting and continued through several roles at ANZ and other organizations, demonstrating a consistent focus on strategic development within the banking industry. Tsugumi earned a degree in Commerce, with specializations in Marketing, Finance, and Economics from the University of Sydney.
