Don Stiffler

Chief Corporate Development Officer at Commonwealth Care Alliance

As chief corporate development officer, Don is responsible for new market strategies and new product initiatives, including the development of business opportunities for CCA and its subsidiaries through value-based contracting and shared savings arrangements. He also coordinates efforts with the company’s innovation arm, Winter Street Ventures, to foster scalability and innovations for the CCA care model.

Don brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience to the CCA executive leadership team. Prior to joining CCA, he served as the national vice president for business development at Optum/UnitedHealth Group, where he oversaw all business development activities for the Complex Care Management Division. Prior to this role, Don served as the company’s vice president of business development for Eastern US, where he led 36 markets and held other business development and strategy positions. Before his time at Optum/UnitedHealth Group, Don served as the vice president of network operations at the Community Behavioral Healthcare Network of Pennsylvania, a division of AmeriHealth Caritas.

Don holds a master’s degree in psychology from Walden University and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Shippensburg University.
