Veronique Hionis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Veronique began their career at the University of Virginia, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant and then as a Research Assistant in the Emergency Department. Veronique then moved on to Virginia Commonwealth University, where they worked as a Research Assistant in the Cardiovascular Research Group, performing animal microsurgeries and studying the effects of hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers.

After that, Hionis joined Diamond Springs Internal Medicine, where they completed a Longitudinal Generalist Mentorship, conducting full history and physical examinations on patients and implementing a pharmaceutical monitoring program.

Veronique then worked at Old Dominion University as a Research Assistant in the Behavioral and Alcohol Related Studies Lab, analyzing the association between psychological distress and alcohol outcomes.
