Janek Wasag

Janek Wasag is a Senior Engineer in Relay and Protection Engineering at ComEd, with extensive experience in testing high voltage electrical devices and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Since June 2018, Janek has been responsible for testing transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relaying schemes, as well as commissioning and maintaining high voltage equipment. Prior roles at ComEd include an Associate Engineer position during a rotation program and internships focusing on testing, commissioning, and reliability engineering, where Janek contributed to functional testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing device interruptions. Janek holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, completed in 2018.
