Shayani Parida

Shayani Parida, Ph.D., currently serves as an Advanced Analytics/Data Science Engineer at ComEd since June 2023, after completing a rotation engineering role. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2018 to July 2023, where research focused on combining atomistic simulations with machine learning to discover novel battery materials. Additionally, Shayani Parida held a Graduate Research Intern position at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2021 and worked as a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University in 2017, contributing to research on CsPbBr3-based hybrid quasi-2D perovskites for LED applications. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering, both from the University of Connecticut.
