Megan Martin is a seasoned legal and operational executive with extensive experience in government and advocacy roles. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at the Commonwealth Foundation since December 2024, Martin oversees key areas such as Public Affairs, Policy, and Legal Strategy with an emphasis on educational choice and individual liberty. Previously, as Vice President and General Counsel at the PA Chamber of Business and Industry, Martin led legal operations and amicus advocacy efforts before the U.S. Supreme Court. As a former statewide judicial candidate for the PA Commonwealth Court, Martin focused on constitutional and election issues. Martin's prior role as Secretary and Parliamentarian of the Senate of PA marked a historic appointment as the first woman in that position, where Martin modernized legislative operations. Martin's legal expertise also includes serving as Deputy General Counsel in the Governor's Office. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Delaware.
