Amanda Johnson

Amanda Johnson is a Nuclear and Radiological Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since September 2023, transitioning from a Senior Engineer role at MPR Associates, Inc. where leadership in design and engineering for a tokamak fusion device was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Han Research Group, focusing on neuroengineering and presenting findings at the Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting, as well as work in the Nguyen Research Group on nano-scale biomedical devices. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, complemented by a brief educational experience at The University of Edinburgh.
