Annie Hughes

Annie Hughes is a seasoned mechanical engineer currently serving as a Senior R&D Mechanical Test Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since September 2022, following a role as an R&D Mechanical Test Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at Formlabs from July 2019 to August 2022, where Annie contributed as a Mechanical Engineer in both the Fuse and Sustaining Engineering teams. Annie's career also encompasses a summer consulting role in the Construction Practice at Navigant in 2018 and undergraduate research roles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where experience included working in the Ideation Lab and researching ultrasonic spraying systems.
