Matthew Fillion

Matthew Fillion currently serves as the Senior Vacuum Systems Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, where responsibilities include leading the design and development of the Cryostat and Torus vacuum pumping system for the SPARC tokamak. Previous roles at Commonwealth Fusion Systems involved similar engineering responsibilities with a focus on vacuum pumping systems. Matthew's experience also includes optimizing the tokamak gas fueling system and conducting numerical simulations for fusion energy applications.
