Irene Walborsky

Irene Walborsky serves as the Senior Director of Product Management at Commonwealth Informatics Inc since 2016, previously holding the title of Project Manager. At Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit from 2003 to 2016, Irene worked as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on the development of Empirica Signal, a safety data mining software, which was advanced through a CRADA with the FDA. Irene's experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Clinsoft (1998-2001), where redesign efforts for Clintrace were undertaken, and as Engineering Manager at Domain Pharma Corporation (1990-1997), where management of a team of engineers occurred. Irene’s prior positions also include Technical Instructor at Bolt, Beranek and Newman (1989-1990), Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Maryland (1987-1988), and Senior Technical Associate at AT&T Bell Laboratories (1983-1985). Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wellesley College and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Florida State University.
