Xiaoli Chen

Xiaoli Chen is an experienced project management professional currently serving as Project Services Manager at Commonwealth LNG since September 2022. Previously, Xiaoli held the position of Project Control Manager at SBM Offshore from March 2021 to September 2022, with a focus on the Multi Purpose Floater Program in Shanghai, China. Prior roles include positions at Enbridge and an extensive tenure at SBM Offshore, where key responsibilities included leading cost management for significant projects such as the Ovintiv Deep Panuke and Chevron Kuito FPSO operations. Before that, Xiaoli worked as a Senior Project Controller at Aker Solutions/Kvaerner, overseeing major LNG and petrochemical projects. Early career experience at Motorola Solutions involved facility planning for a large manufacturing plant. Xiaoli holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from Tianjin University, complemented by a minor in English.
