Tim Rooney

Tim Rooney has over 30 years of work experience in finance and consulting roles. Tim currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at BridgePoint Group, LLC from June 2016 to June 2019. Tim Rooney has also held various roles at Fidelity Investments, including SVP Finance, CFO Capital Markets, Vice President of Enterprise Finance Architecture and Mutual Fund Board Support, Vice President of Finance, Product, Marketing, and Distribution, and Financial Analyst/Director of Finance. Before joining Fidelity Investments, they worked as a Director of Finance at Stream International and as a Financial Analyst at IBM.

Tim Rooney has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from St. Bonaventure University. Tim also has pursued an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27) from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
