Andrea Mullen

Andrea Mullen is a Professional Geologist Manager at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, leading the Technical and Regulatory Services group within the Bureau of Oil and Gas Planning and Program Management since November 2014. Previously, Mullen served as a Licensed Professional Geologist at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and as an Environmental Protection Compliance Specialist. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Staff Geologist at Converse Consultants, where technical writing support and groundwater modeling were provided, and as a Professional Geologist with an independent consulting practice focusing on expert testimony related to environmental issues. Early career experience encompasses time as a Staff Geologist at SAIC, specializing in environmental geology and hydrogeology, as well as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University. Mullen holds an MS in Geosciences from Penn State University and a BS in Geology and Environmental Studies from The University of Akron.
