Jason Thomas

Jason Thomas is the Director of the HR Shared Services Office for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a role held since July 2018, where leadership focuses on HRIS strategy and operational HR services. Previously, Jason served as the Director of the HR Service Center from 2017 to 2022, managing a team of over 130 employees in essential HR operations. During that tenure, Jason implemented significant modernization initiatives and process improvements. Jason's career with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania began in 2000, holding positions such as HR Operations Manager and Business Architect, where responsibilities included leading analyst teams and participating in HRIS project phases. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
