Sydney Maisel-Straitman

Sydney Maisel-Straitman has worked in various organizations starting from Birthright Israel Foundation as a Development Coordinator in 2009. Later, they worked at Columbia University, where they served as an Assistant Director, Class Giving, and Major Gifts Officer. In 2017, they joined KIPP New Jersey as a Senior Development Manager, and in 2019, they became Director, Sales and Special Projects at Commonwealth Packaging Company. Currently, they serve as the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Commonwealth Packaging Company.

Sydney Maisel-Straitman attended the University of Michigan from 2005-2009 where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Judaic Studies. From 2008-2009, they also studied Hebrew, film, Holocaust studies, and architecture at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, but did not receive a degree. In 2013, they enrolled in Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) to pursue a Master's degree in Public Administration, specializing in advanced management and finance. Sydney received their Master's degree in Public Administration from SIPA in 2016. Additionally, they may have pursued other unspecified studies at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.
