Janet L. Carlson MSN, BSN, RN, CRN, NE-BC, FACHE is an accomplished healthcare executive currently serving as the Executive Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers at Commonwealth Pain and Spine since June 2023. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Janet has held positions such as President at BEST Health System and Chief Executive Officer at The Surgery Center at Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery. A member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation since September 2022, Janet focuses on fostering relationships among senior executive women in healthcare. Janet is also affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives and The International Nurses Association. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Executive from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University.
