Michael Kinison

Michael Kinison is a skilled professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and quality control within the aluminum and materials testing industries. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Systems Developer at Commonwealth Rolled Products, Inc. since December 2016, Michael has also held roles such as R&D technician, Process Technician - Casting, and Lab Technician, focusing on mechanical properties testing to support the company's expansion into the automotive sector. Prior to this, Michael worked at Century Aluminum from April 2010 to October 2016 as a Casthouse Supervisor, where responsibilities included production coordination and safety management, as well as a Chemist conducting quality testing with advanced XRD and XRF instruments. Additional experience includes positions with Swedish Match, MPD Inc., and GE Water & Process Technologies, contributing to diverse fields from sensory analysis to fuel cell manufacturing. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western Kentucky University.
