Israel Machuca is an experienced compliance and regulatory professional with a diverse background in legal and policy roles. Currently serving as the Manager of Compliance & Regulatory at Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation since March 2020, Israel has previously held positions such as Senior Policy Lawyer at the Law Council of Australia and Senior Compliance Manager at Bank of Queensland. Additional experience includes senior roles in compliance advising at CUA and Suncorp Group, as well as legal and advisory positions with the Financial Conduct Authority and the Office of Senator the Hon. Joe Ludwig. Israel's educational qualifications encompass a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Griffith University, and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Law and Arts (Ethics and Human Rights) from QUT.
