Aimee Zhao

Aimee Zhao is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Director and Analyst in the Climate and Energy Division at the Commonwealth Treasury since February 2021. Prior to this role, Aimee held the position of Legislative Adviser in the Law Division. Aimee gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications from December 2019 to February 2021. Educationally, Aimee holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia and a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Economics from The Australian National University. Aimee has also held leadership positions including President and Events Director at the Australian National University Asian Students in Australia Association and worked as an intern and paralegal at Kimberley Community Legal Services.
