Gaminda Ganewatta

Gaminda Ganewatta is an experienced professional with a diverse background in economic analysis and research. Currently serving as an Adviser at the National Indigenous Australians Agency and as an Analyst at the Commonwealth Treasury, Gaminda has previously held roles such as Economist/Data Scientist at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources and Research Officer/Economic Analyst at Safe Work Australia. With a rich academic foundation, Gaminda holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from La Trobe University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Data Analytics from The Australian National University, complemented by a Master of Science in Agricultural and Resource Economics and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Agriculture from the University of Peradeniya.
