Jane Gordon

Jane Gordon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jane started their career at Ernst & Young as an Accountant in the Entrepreneurial Services team, and later became a Senior Accountant in the External Audit team. Jane then moved on to the Australian Communications Authority, where they worked as an Operations Supervisor in the Finance Team. Jane then joined the Australian Communications and Media Authority as part of the Finance Merger Team and later served as the Acting Assistant Manager for the Cost Recovery Team.

After that, they transitioned to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where they held the positions of Management and Administered Accountant in the Corporate Management Division, and Executive Officer in the Office of Trade Negotiations. Jane coordinated and provided input to various high-level briefings and managed the delivery of training courses.

Jane then joined the Australian Government Department of Finance as an Assistant Director in the Cash Management Branch. Jane later became an Assistant Director in the Special Appropriations and Cash Management Branch, providing guidance on Australian Government banking arrangements. Jane also held the role of Acting Director in the Financial Management Branch at the Department of Regional Australia, Regional Development, and Local Government.

Jane'smost recent role is with the Commonwealth Treasury, where they have held multiple positions. Jane started as an Assistant Director in the Financial Reporting Team, then became the Acting Director of the same team. Jane also served as the Acting Assistant Secretary in the Reporting and Resourcing Branch before eventually taking on the role of Director in the Federal Finances Unit of the Commonwealth-State and Population Division. Jane Gordon attended The Australian National University from 1997 to 2001. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics degree, with a specialization in Accounting and Finance.
