Mengjiao Yao (Sherry)

Mengjiao Yao, CPA CFA®, currently serves as Tax Manager at Commonwealth Trust Company since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mengjiao gained extensive experience at Cover & Rossiter, PA from August 2015 to August 2022, holding positions as Tax Supervisor, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Mengjiao also participated in the Executive Mentors-Scholar Program at the University of Delaware from May 2014 to May 2015, establishing a mentoring relationship with a Principal of a Newark accounting firm to gain industry insights. Additionally, Mengjiao contributed as a Graduate Assistant, managing discussion boards for Intermediate Accounting and assisting Professor Geerts with Database Design & Implementation. Mengjiao holds a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware, completed in 2015.
