Darren Fawcett

Darren Fawcett has extensive experience in the telecommunications and engineering sectors, currently serving as VP of System Engineering and Hardware at CommScope since 2016. Prior to this, Darren held various leadership roles at Pace plc, including Chief Technical Engineer and Chief Technologist, focusing on corporate strategy and technological advancements from 2000 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Darren worked at Datong Electronics and GEC Plessey Telecommunications, contributing as an engineer. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from the University of Leeds, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of York, and a part-time Master of Science in Cybersecurity and AI from the University of York, along with studies at Cranfield University and École nationale des ponts et chaussées.
