Jim Welch

Jim Welch serves as the Global Marketing Technical Director for Video, Advertising, and Security Cloud Solutions at CommScope since April 2019. Welch has an extensive background in marketing and communications, including a long tenure at ARRIS Group Inc. (formerly Motorola Mobility LLC), where the role of Director of Global Marketing and Communications was held. Previous positions include Director of Worldwide Marketing and Communications at SecureMedia®, and Director of Global Marketing and Communications at Gyricon LLC, among others. Welch began a career in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist before transitioning into technology and marketing. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Urban Studies from Suffolk University, an Associate of Arts in Respiratory Therapy from Northern Essex Community College, and a diploma in Advanced Computer Technology from the Cambridge Institute for Computer Programming.
