Karthik R. is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Software Engineering at CommScope since April 2019, Karthik leads the development of XGS-PON products as well as cloud software solutions based on OpenDaylight. Prior to this role, Karthik was Sr. Director at ARRIS, overseeing software development for network function virtualization and cloud video delivery services. Earlier experience includes distinguished engineering roles at Motorola Mobility, where Karthik contributed to major product innovations in CMTS technology, and positions at Quantum Bridge Communications and FORE Systems. Karthik holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Osmania University.
