Shabbir Mustafa

Shabbir Mustafa is a Senior Reliability Engineer at CommScope since June 2013, managing the Active reliability laboratory and overseeing test equipment acquisition, maintenance, and multiple project support for HALT, ORT, ALT, and qualification testing of RF, broadband, and electronic components. Responsibilities include planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting on accelerated stress testing and reliability activities, notably focusing on HALT for Remote Radio Heads, Tower Mounted Amplifiers, and Smart L devices. Prior to this role, Shabbir served as an R&D Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks from January 1998 to September 2012, where significant achievements included improving Passive Inter-modulation (PIM) yield through root cause analyses and designing an integrated test station that achieved substantial cost savings. Shabbir's career also includes experience as an RF Design Engineer, where receiver multi couplers were designed for cellular applications. Shabbir holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
