Andras Takacs

Andras Takacs is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Commsignia. Prior to this, they were a software engineer at MTA SZTAKI from April 2011 to October 2014. There, they worked on the ITSSv6 project, developing IPv6 mobility for ITS stations, as well as NEMO, MCoA, and IPv6 over Geonetworking. Andras also did system integration for embedded Linux development. Before that, they were a Senior Research Fellow at Elstor Ltd from December 2010 to January 2012, where they provided services such as IPv6 courses, consulting, and educations. Andras was also a Linux developer at Dension Audio Systems from January 2010 to April 2011, working on Linux kernel USB gadget drivers, Linux kernel ALSA SoC drivers, and a user space FAT management utility. Andras also developed a Bluetooth connection daemon and utilities, Universal Bluetooth DUN and USB modem manager daemon, and an embedded 3G hotspot. Prior to that, they were the co-founder and manager of EmSol Engineering Office from August 2008 to January 2011. Before that, they were a software engineer at Ramsys Zrt from August 2007 to December 2009.

Andras Takacs has an MSC in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Széchényi István Egyetem, and a High School Graduation from Toldy Ferenc Gimnázium.

Andras Takacs reports to Jozsef Kovacs, Co-Founder & CEO. Andras Takacs works with Szabolcs Patay - Chief Revenue Officer, Laszlo Virag - Co-Founder & CTO.
