Ryan Louis

Ryan Louis, Ph.D, currently serves as a Senior Associate at CIG Public Relations since April 2023. Concurrently, Ryan holds the position of President at Pi Kappa Delta, overseeing strategic planning and community outreach for the nonprofit organization, which includes organizing professional development opportunities and an annual national speech/debate tournament. Prior to this, Ryan was a Communication Consultant at Blazing Trails Communications from July 2015 to April 2023, providing strategic communications and marketing services to diverse clients. Ryan's academic career includes 14 years as an Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Director of Forensics at Ottawa University, alongside various educational and administrative roles. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at MTV Networks, where Ryan managed international programming and operations. Educationally, Ryan holds a PhD in Rhetoric from The University of Kansas, an MA in Rhetoric & Performance Studies from Hofstra University, and a BA in Film from Webster University.
