Terry Pullinger

Deputy General Secretary, Postal at Communication Workers Union

After completing his school education Terry undertook a Tool Making Apprenticeship and held various manual jobs, both in the building trade and warehouse based. In 1985 Terry joined Royal Mail as a Postman in the Dartford area and became a member of the CWU. Terry has served as a Union Representative at the Local, Area, Divisional and National levels for over 28 years.

In 2001 Terry was elected as a National Officer of the CWU and was re-elected unopposed three times. During his time serving as National Officer Terry was responsible for representing Parcelforce, Mail Centres, Walk Bundling Centres, RDCs, Network & Area Distribution, RM International, RMSS, Quadrant, and the Isle of Man Post Office, negotiating Agreements on operational change, pay, and pensions, affording him a wealth of experience.

In July 2015 Terry was elected as the Deputy General Secretary (Postal) of the CWU.
