Joan Kiama

Joan Kiama is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal sector. Currently serving as a member of the Devolution and Law Reform Committee and the In-House Counsel Committee at the Law Society of Kenya since August 2024, Joan also holds the position of Legal and Regulatory Affairs Officer at the Communications Authority of Kenya since July 2021. Previous roles include a lawyer at ASHITIVA ADVOCATES LLP and a legal intern at Menezes & Partners Advocates and Safaricom PLC. Joan was actively involved in the Model United Nations, co-founding significant international conferences and leading committees. Educational qualifications include an ATP from the Kenya School of Law, a Bachelor of Laws from Strathmore University, and a Master's in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi.
