Annetta Hanna has worked in the communications and marketing industry for over 30 years. Annetta began their career in 1990 as the Editor in Chief of ID Magazine. In 1995, they moved to Penguin Random House where they served as the Senior Acquisitions Editor. During their time there, they acquired, edited and published 30 books per year and co-launched Potter Style, Random House's first gift and stationery line. In 2005, they started their own business, Hanna Rewords, where they provided editorial and corporate communications services for clients such as Edelman, Rizzoli Publishers, Waterworks, and more. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at JConnelly as the Vice President of Content. During their time there, they developed strategic communications plans for a diverse portfolio of clients. Finally, in 2016, they joined Communications Strategy Group as a Senior Content Strategist.
Annetta Hanna received their B.A., Magna cum Laude from the University of Virginia, where they were a Phi Beta Kappa and double majored in Psychology and Religion. Annetta then earned their M.A. from the Institute of French Studies at New York University. After that, they completed a Mini-MBA in Digital Marketing Strategies at Rutgers University. Finally, they studied Political Science and History at Sciences Po in Paris, France.
