Lorena White

Lorena White's work experience begins with their role as a Government Relations specialist at Service Employees International Union (SEIU) from 2009 to 2016. During this time, they managed a multi-million dollar budget, coordinated large-scale events, and developed alliances for advocacy projects. From 2016 to 2017, Lorena worked as a Senior Project Management Lead at Lingualink Inc. where they managed a translation team and ensured projects were delivered on time and within budget. In 2017, they became the Senior Campaigns Manager to the Chief of Staff at SEIU Local 721, overseeing several socioeconomic campaigns and implementing a governance structure. From 2017 to 2018, Lorena served as the Cyber Security CSR Lead at Triumph Enterprises, Inc., leading the implementation of ServiceNow and streamlining onboarding/offboarding processes. Lorena then worked as a Senior Project Manager/Change Agent at DRT Strategies from 2018 to 2019, co-leading the integration of a multi-million program and facilitating the transition to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. Lorena's next role was as a Senior Strategy Manager at ARMATURE Solutions Corporation from 2019 to 2020, where they leveraged PMO experience to implement best practices and built client partnerships with C-suite stakeholders. Currently, Lorena is the Deputy Director - Data & Portfolio Management at Communications Workers of America, a role they started in 2020.

Lorena White holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Sociology from James Madison University.
