Estimation And Installation Manager at CommuniLux Productions

Alex Windle has a diverse background in the theatre and production industry. Alex started their career at Upper Darby Summer Stage in 2006 as a Master Electrician, where they facilitated lighting setups and programming. Alex then took on roles at Upper Darby Summer Stage as a Children's Theatre Technical Director in 2009 and as an Assistant Technical Director in 2011, where they were responsible for budgeting, structural design, and drafting.

In 2010, Alex worked as a Carpenter at Flat Rock Playhouse, gaining experience in carpentry. Alex also completed a Carpentry Apprenticeship at Point Park University from 2009 to 2011.

Alex joined Proof Productions, Inc. in 2012 as a Project Manager, where they managed operations within a custom fabrication shop and was involved in technical drafting and CNC operation. Alex then moved on to Walnut Street Theatre for a Shop Management Apprenticeship in 2011, further honing their skills.

From 2013, Alex has been with CommuniLux Productions, initially as an Assistant Technical Director and later becoming a Technical Director. Alex was promoted to the role of Senior Technical Director & Account Manager in 2021. During their time at CommuniLux Productions, they gained extensive experience in technical theatre and account management.

In 2022, Alex transitioned to CAMP as a Senior Project Manager of Experience, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Project Manager at CommuniLux Productions, starting in 2023.

Alex Windle attended Point Park University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology.
