Rachel V.

Rachel V. is an accomplished talent management professional with extensive experience in connecting technical talent to local tech companies. Currently serving as Director of Talent Programs at Communitech since January 2016, Rachel has successfully designed and delivered various talent programs to enhance local workforce engagement. Earlier roles at Communitech include Senior Manager and Manager, Talent Programs and Future of Work, where Rachel focused on strengthening talent strategies for tech companies. Prior to Communitech, Rachel spent nearly nine years at BlackBerry in roles such as HR Analytics Advisor, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, and Global Talent Acquisition Program Manager, where skills in analytics, relationship building, and program management were honed. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Education with a Senior Sciences Specialization from the University of Western Ontario.
