Karin Florez

Karin Florez, MSSW, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and community support. Since September 2019, Karin has served as the Business Owner of Little Inka, LLC, focusing on the mission to enhance the livelihoods of Andean artisans and communities. Additionally, since October 2005, Karin has held multiple roles at Communities In Schools of Central Texas, currently as Program Director - Care Coordination, where responsibilities include analyzing grant requirements, implementing communication strategies, and coordinating services for at-risk populations. Previous experience includes serving as a Case Manager at the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County, providing legal resource information to residents. Karin holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
