Katie Farias is a site coordinator at Communities In Schools of San Antonio. Prior to this, Katie worked as a grad student intern at Gentiva Health Services, a Big Sister volunteer at Big Brother Big Sister of South Texas, a student intern at San Antonio ISD, a work study student at Madonna Neighborhood Centers, and participated in service learning at Harlandale Independent School District. Katie holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same university. Katie has a passion for providing support to those in need, especially youth and families in crisis.
