Naedean Herrera, LMSW, possesses extensive experience in social work and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as a Summer Fellow at Leadership SAISD since July 2023, Naedean is focused on enhancing skills in nonprofit leadership. Naedean has been a Senior Site Coordinator at Communities In Schools of San Antonio since November 2021 and previously held roles such as Restorative Discipline Coordinator at KIPP Texas Public Schools and Site Coordinator at Communities In Schools of San Antonio. The career began with an Americorps position at City Year, providing tutoring and mentoring to at-risk youth. Naedean holds a Master of Social Work from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Baylor University.
