Rula Minawi

Rula Minawi has extensive experience in youth development, program management, and community engagement across various organizations. Currently serving as College and Career Program Manager at Communities In Schools National Office since September 2016, Rula supports the implementation of College/Career Readiness programming and provides training and resources to affiliate sites. Previous roles include Civic Engagement Coordinator at Maya Angelou Schools, where Rula developed sustainable civic engagement frameworks, and Youth Programs Coordinator at Horton's Kids, focusing on outreach strategies for youth in low-income communities. Rula also contributed as an Independent Consultant for a World Bank project, as Senior Researcher with USAID on environmental curricula, and coordinated workforce development initiatives in Jordan. Rula's early career included roles advocating for refugee youth and enhancing community outreach. Rula holds a Master of Arts in Applied Anthropology with a focus on Youth and Community Development from the University of London.
