Karen Jared has been a dedicated Partnership Liaison at Community Action Partnership of North Alabama (CAPNA) since January 2018, with a tenure at the organization that dates back to 1996. In this role, Karen is responsible for implementing CAPNA's Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship Program and overseeing the Quality Rating & Improvement System across a 15-county service area. Additionally, Karen develops and maintains Memorandums of Understanding with local Department of Human Resources and actively contributes as a member of CAPNA's Human Resources Team and an appointed WIOA Board Member. Karen earned a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Human Resources from Athens State University between 2000 and 2012.
